NEW LD RESEARCH STUDY

[b]ATTENTION FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT READING DISABILITIES (AGES 7 to 16)
We are currently looking for children and adolescents with and without reading disabilities to participate in a research study. We are trying to learn more about the best way of teaching people to read.

WHAT: Comprehensive evaluation of reading-related skills for about 3 hours, Possible Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans of the brain; If qualified, a minimum of 160 hours of tutoring, and Parent questionnaires.

WHERE: Kennedy Krieger Institute - 707 North Broadway, Baltimore, MD

BENEFITS & RISKS: There are no direct medical benefits and no significant risks to participating in the study.

COMPENSATION: $50, Free tutoring, MRI, and IQ and school testing with summary
